Google Goggles does not provide importing multiple images at one time. Suppose you have taken 10 images for whom you want to do an optical character recognition for these images.You have to manually import every single image, do an optical character recognition and manually copy the generated text to a text or any other document.
Exporting to text, Pdf, etc formats
Google Goggles does not support even exporting to text format. You have to manually copy generated text to text or any other document.You can forget about exporting to other popular formats search as Pdf, word, excel, etc.
Internet Connection Requirement
Google Goggles require an active internet connection to do a optical character recognition for an image. Make sure that the connection speed is better. I tested it with 2g speed and 3g speed.Optical character recognition quality was not good on 2g network. Optical character recognition was really good, how it should be on 3g network.
So make sure while doing an optical character recognition for an image that you are using 3g network. Results can also vary depending upon the signal strength of your network. Your ORC would be good if your single strength is good, even if your are on 2g network.
Cropping Images
Google Goggles let you crop image. You can only crop while you are taking an image from the camera. You cannot crop image which you import from the gallery.Pdf ORC
